The ascent in an airship has always been appreciated by people who enjoy slowness and careful observation, for whom the journey through the sky is also the destination. The fascination of lighter-than-air travel has lost none of its magic since the classic Zeppelin era. Since 1995, the members of the ZEPPELIN CLUB have accompanied and promoted the rebirth of the modern Zeppelin and have become ambassadors for Zeppelin tourism. The ZEPPELIN CLUB offers all like-minded people the opportunity to stay in touch and exchange ideas. Members are offered sightseeing flights at discounted rates. In addition, the club arranges exclusive flights with Deutsche Zeppelin Rederei on routes that are not included in the standard offer.

The uniqueness of the Zeppelin – floating and flying.
There are numerous ideas and concepts for the use of this unique airship. Apart from passenger flights the Zeppelin is successfully used for scientific missions all over the world. For diamond exploration in South Africa, projects with European institutes as well as cartographic tasks in European cities. The low vibration flight performance and the capability of moving very slowly or even hovering on one spot make the Zeppelin an ideal platform for such missions.
The pioneers of historic airship travel and, of course, people today see flying with a Zeppelin as an absolute highlight. What used to be the fastest means of transportation for intercontinental long distances is now pure pleasure.
A pleasure which more and more people share, not only on the routes over Lake Constance, but also on Zeppelin travel tours to German cities or European foreign countries. In fact, the tour over France and Holland to England is legendary, so are the city tours to Munich or Berlin.

The Förderverein Zeppelin and its objectives
The Förderverein Zeppelin-Tourismus e.V. pursues the objective of actively promoting Zeppelin tourism. In the statutes it says that the society wishes to promote all activities suitable to revive attractive, ecologically sound, cultural and historically significant Zeppelin tourism.
The unique feeling of floating above the world
One of our main objectives is to communicate the experience of a Zeppelin flight to our members. How else would you be able to get an impression of the world of the Zeppelins and experience the unique feeling of floating?
After all, a flight in the Zeppelin NT is one of the most striking experiences of our time – and certainly unique in this form.
Purpose of the Society
1) The purpose of the Society is the promotion of Zeppelin tourism. This encompasses all activities suitable to initiate and activate an attractive, ecologically sound, cultural and historically-based tourism.
(2) The purpose of the Society should be realised, above all, by the following activities:
1. In pursuit of its objectives, the Society will acquire a Zeppelin (New Technology), built by the Zeppelin Luftschifftechnik GmbH, Friedrichshafen which is developing an airship based on the ingenious principles of Graf von Zeppelin and improved by means of new technology.
2. In due time, it will be decided in which manner the acquired airship will be operated so as to achieve the objectives of the Society. (i.e., by means of an operating or charter company).
(3) The assets of the Society may be used only in pursuit of the objectives laid down in this statute. No person shall benefit either by means of payments which are contrary to the aims of the Society, or by receiving excessively high reimbursements.
(4) The Society shall pursue its objectives through its own activities or through the suggestions of, and cooperation with other institutions or individuals.
(5) Income will be derived from membership fees, donations, loans and other resources that serve the objectives of the Society.
